1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Aether ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Aether is a third-party client for X (formerly Twitter). It is developed by Zero Divide Ltd. and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. The app lets you read your timeline, search, view profiles and notifications, and post, reply, like, repost and bookmark using your existing X account.

3. Your X Account

Aether does not create accounts of its own. You sign in through X's own login page inside the app; your credentials are entered directly with X and are never seen or stored by us. When signed in, the app acts on your behalf with X, and your use of X through Aether remains subject to the X Terms of Service and X Privacy Policy. You are responsible for everything posted from your account through the app.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and X's Terms of Service and Rules. You will not use Aether to:

• Violate any laws or regulations

• Harass, abuse or harm others

• Spread misinformation or harmful content

• Automate posting or engagement, or scrape content

• Circumvent X's access controls or rate limits

5. Aether Pro Subscriptions & Purchases

Some features are unlocked by an optional purchase ("Aether Pro"), offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription or a one-off lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

6. X Content

All content accessed through the app remains the property of its respective owners. Aether does not host, cache on our servers, or claim ownership of any content; it is fetched directly from X when you browse and reflects X's current state. Content removed from X will no longer appear in the app.

7. Child Safety Standards

Aether, developed by Zero Divide Ltd., strictly prohibits all forms of CSAE and CSAM. Because Aether displays content from X and does not host any content, moderation is handled by X's Trust & Safety team. Content can be reported to X via X's own reporting tools.

8. Third-Party Disclaimer

X and the X logo are trademarks of X Corp. Aether is an independent product and does not use X's branding.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Because Aether depends on X's services, features may change or stop working if X changes. We are not responsible for content posted by X users.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Aether does not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone, and runs no analytics or tracking of its own.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Aether has no servers of its own and does not collect personal information. The app stores the following locally on your device only:

• App preferences and settings (themes, app icon, gestures)

• Your X sign-in session (cookies), so you stay signed in between launches

• Cached timeline data and media to make the app faster

• Unsent drafts

3. What X Can See

Because Aether connects directly to X to function, X can see:

• Your IP address (as with any internet request)

• The content you request to view

• The actions you take (posts, replies, likes, reposts, bookmarks)

X processes this information under its own Privacy Policy, exactly as when using X's own apps. By using Aether you are also subject to X's terms and privacy policies.

4. Third-Party Services

This app interacts with the following third-party services:

• X - content, search and account features

• RevenueCat - processes Aether Pro purchases. It receives an anonymous app-user ID and purchase receipts from the App Store or Google Play; no name or email.

• App Store / Google Play - app distribution and payments under their own policies

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Aether contains no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs or crash reporters, and does not track you across apps or websites.

6. Security

Your session data is stored in the app's private sandbox on your device, and all connections to X and other services use HTTPS.

7. Children's Privacy

This application is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

8. Your Control & Data Deletion

• Sign out at any time from Settings to remove your session

• Clear cached data from Settings

• Delete the app to remove all local data

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing further for us to delete.

9. Legal Basis for Processing

• Contract: To provide the service you requested

• Legal Obligation: To comply with laws and legal requests

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
